New Student Hub

In semester 2 a new Student Hub is opening at the Mt Albert Campus. This guide provides practical information to keep you informed on related matters that may impact you.

Impact on Library Services

Hub Library - moving to new Hub, so closed from 1 July to 23 July 2017. 

Waitakere Library - all services will continue

Building 1 Library -  all services will continue

Online - all services and e-resources will continue at including Live Help

Services available for students in the new Hub

Ask Me desk for general enquiries, directions, tech help & laptop loans (level 1)

Assignment and referencing help (level 1 & 2)

Career and financial advice (level 1 & 2)

Health and wellbeing clinic - providing physical and mental health services (level 0)

Language Learning Centre (level 3)

Learning and disability advice and support (level 2)

Library services (levels 1-3)

Printing / copying / scanning (levels 1-3), plus Copy Centre services (level 1)

Student advocacy and complaints (level 2)

Workshops, guidance and help to improve academic skills (book on levels 1-2)

Group Study Rooms

Several group study rooms are located in the New Hub for student use. To book a room students will use the Group Study Room Booking System. Access the booking system via the Student Portal under 'Useful Links' or via the library website home page under 'Popular Resources').
