Fix For This Issue

Google Chrome causes the browser to load pages as HTTPS (secure content only) rather than standard HTTP.
This causes Google Chrome to view the eTV video player as 'non secure' and blocks it. The player is safe and so is the content. To fix this issue to view eTV video player follow these steps:
1. Open up a video page in eTV.

2. Once the page is loaded and the video player has not appeared, look at the browser bar at the top of the webpage. The address should start with HTTPS.

3. On the right, a small grey shield will appear in the address bar. Click on this small grey shield and a box will pop-up asking if you wish to allow non-secure content through. Answer yes to have ETV  recognised as a secure provider in your browser settings which will allow the video to be played.

This issue does not fall within of our control and to encrypt all our videos to deliver in HTTPS is not a viable option for eTV.

We do stress once again that our content is safe, virus free, and will not harm your computer in any way.
