EndNote is a computer program which can help with referencing and in text citations for your studies.
The library runs workshops for postgraduate students and staff. Express your interest to attend Library workshops here.
Some knowledge of referencing and experience of creating references from scratch is essential before using EndNote. To use EndNote successfully, you need to be familiar with the citation style you are using (most commonly APA at Unitec).
Unitec currently uses EndNote X8 which is installed on all student PCs. This is a local or desktop version. Copies of the programs for PCs and MACs can be borrowed from all 3 library branches for use with your own computers. Unitec staff computers must have a job logged with IMS for installation.
This tip is important if you move between a computer at Unitec and at home. Your Endnote Library will become corrupted if you don't do this.
Each time you change computers you must SAVE your LIBRARY
